4 Years Old PRE-K

To ensure that your child is ready for kindergarten, we have a state-funded Pre-k program.  We meet or exceed strict standards for Pre-k program components, curriculum and assessments, and teacher and assistant teacher credentials.  School readiness is important, and it helps set your child up for a lifetime of academic success.

Putnam County Schools (PCS) provides a 6.25 hour instructional day, 4 days a week.  Extended before and after care are also available.

WCDC provides before and after care to our enrolled Pre-k students Monday through Friday.  Pre-K is Monday through Thursday 8:15 AM to 2:30 PM.  Because PCS provides a “free” Pre-K program, the Pre-k children may pack their meals.

Breakfast and lunch are served during Pre-k hours.  Meals are included in your fees for Friday full day care.

Our Curriculum

The foundation of our pre-k curriculum is Creative Curriculum, a nationally-recognized award-winning program that helps your child develop the skills needed for school.

Your pre-k student will love all the planned, fun experiences in language, math, science, social studies, music and art – and so much more!
